INSTALLED IN ROUTE VEHICLES AND PATROL CARS
The “PARKON-A” system ensures mobile operation, photo and video evidence capturing for traffic violations, database search and wireless data transmission to Police back-office. It’s designed for installation both in route vehicles for reserved bus lane control (movement and parking) and regular vehicles for parking control.
Traffic Enforcement Portfolio
The system consists of video camera (monochrome or color, on customer request), data processing unit and external GPS antenna. The equipment is mounted inside any route vehicle (bus, tram or trolley-bus) for capturing the violations on reserved bus lane, or in any other vehicle for capturing the parking violations and participating in search operations.
The system is powered from vehicle power supply at 12VDС or 24 VDC.
The system is set up, controlled and updated remotely via web interface over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 3G/4G channels without any need for special client software. Desktop PCs, laptops and mobile devices are equally supported.
Optional IR spotlight ensures operation through the rear window of patrol car.

The “PARKON-A” system works in fully automatic mode without any input from vehicle driver or operator. Data Processing Unit performs the real time processing of video stream from camera, automatic license plate recognition and detection of traffic violators — the vehicles spotted in prohibited area.
Violations on reserved bus lane or tram rails are captured independently by each “PARKON-A” unit, which performs continuous automatic recognition of road marking (or rails) for correct determination of current position.
At least two evidence photos illustrate the fact of driving in restricted zone. Additionally the data on each violation contains wide angle photo, license number photo, date, time and address, geographical coordinates of “PARKON-A” system and violator itself. A short video clip is stored for each detected violation which may be presented to the vehicle owner as an additional proof.

For parking enforcement it’s recommended to use several vehicles equipped with similar “PARKON-A” units, driving on designated routes. There the final capture of violation may be performed by the following patrol vehicle. The data from all “PARKON-A” units is transferred and processed automatically in real time, therefore the violations are detected right after the second patrol car performs the capturing. No false double capturing is possible.
The photo evidence contains at least two photos of violator, taken in different time periods, proving the fact of committed parking violation. Additionally the data on each violation contains zoomed-in photo, license number photo, date, time and address, geographical coordinates of “Parkon-A” system and violator itself. A short video clip is recorded for each detected violation.

Parking violations may be captured by single System as well. The patrol car shall make at least two passes by the parked vehicle, circling along its designated route, and the time period between captures provides the proof of violation. No false double capturing is possible.

The “PARKON-A” system may be used as a vehicle search instrument with its license plate recognition and database search abilities:
The system supports not only loading the external databases into its memory, but also creating the quick search database on the fly.
All detected vehicles are checked by databases in memory during the regular traffic enforcement operation. The data on vehicles found in database will be automatically stored to internal storage, and transmitted to Police back-office.
Additionally, the operator may connect to “PARKON-A” web interface via secure Wi-Fi channel using any mobile device. Upon match of vehicle in search database the sound tone is played, the license plate number is verbally announced and the photo is displayed to operator.

Special “WANTED” operation mode may be enabled for interactive participation in search activities. In this mode the operator receives instant data on detected vehicles to his tablet or laptop PC, with synchronous voice repetition of detected license plates. Immediately upon detection of “wanted” vehicle, the operator may perform necessary actions to stop this vehicle.
